A curriculum vitae; cover letter, addressed to Professor Bruce Larson, Chair, Department of Political Science; writing sample; transcripts; and a separate statement of the applicant’s teaching philosophy should be submitted. Job Summary

The Department of Political Science at Gettysburg College seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor of Comparative Politics for the 2018-19 academic year beginning August 2018. The successful candidate will be expected to teach six courses, including introductory courses in Comparative Politics, advanced courses in European Politics, and one to two sections of research methods.

Qualifications

A Ph.D. In Political Science or ABD status is required. The opportunity to maintain a personal research program will be available.
